Non vegetarian Foodies flock to the antica Macerlleria Cecchini in Panzano to sit at the feet of "Dante-quoting" butcher Dario Cecchini. He puts out meaty treats. Party in a butcher shop? Why not? Besides, at Dario's place, you can actually eat from a vegetarian menu if you'd like.
And if you want a little taste of the experience, see Feasting at the Officina della Bistecca.
The map shows the location of Dario's butcher shop and restaurants, all grouped together in Panzano in Chianti. Park you car on the outskirts, and enjoy the little town center as you make the way there. It's worth it.
